The Grace and Phil Edelman Scholarship is now LIVE for applicants that want to apply for the 2026-27 school year!
A little information about the scholarships:
In 2025, the Bartlett Regional Hospital Foundation awarded 15 scholarships totaling $31,000 to Southeast Alaska students through the Grace and Phil Edelman Health Sciences Scholarship program. The scholarship program supports the education and development of Southeast Alaska students pursuing degrees in any field of health science. Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance and leadership among peers in the community, with preference for graduate-level and professional degree candidates intending to return to Southeast upon completion of their studies.
“The Bartlett Foundation is honored to award this scholarship to students in Southeast Alaska,” said Melissa McCormick, the Foundation’s Executive Director. “The Edelman Health Sciences Scholarship is an investment in our communities. This scholarship doesn’t just help individual students, it also strengthens the entire healthcare ecosystem by ensuring that our Southeast Alaska neighbors have access to skilled, compassionate care.”
